A farm of love
Everything here was built by hand, with patience and a deep love for this land.
Dudi & Esther
In 2003, Dudi Dahan and Esther Sandak came to a hilltop beside Horvat Zaak in the northern Negev and began building a farm.
They cleared the caves, planted hundreds of trees and vines and, step by step, built a place that now welcomes hikers, families, groups and soldiers from all over the country.
Dudi is the dreamer, founder and doer, and Esther leads workshops in connection and opening the heart. Together they host from the heart, with attention to the little things and a feeling of home from the first moment.
Why “Kfar Ahava”, the Village of Love? The story of the name and the symbol goes here, in Dudi and Esther's own words.

Thousands of years of history, right next to the farm
On a hill 420 metres above sea level, between the southern Hebron Hills and the Judean lowlands, lies Horvat Zaak, a village inhabited from the Middle Bronze Age to the Ottoman period.
- An underground hiding complex from the Bar Kokhba revolt
- An olive press, wine presses, a ritual bath and cisterns
- Burial caves and remains of ancient homes
- The Zaak well at the foot of the hill
